No matter what Sam tells you, Under a Cherry Moon is not a great film. An enjoyable film, to be sure�knee-deep in perhaps my favorite of Prince eras (both musically and physically)�but its quality is relatively irredeemable. Parade is still quite good.

Parenthetical Girls are currently "demo"-ing. This is step one in the album writing process, which basically consists of Zac sitting in a dark closet for a few hours a week trying to teach himself how to play instruments with the record button depressed. I'm hoping to piecemeal together something resembling a "rough draft" by summertime, after which I hope to convene as a "band" for another unnecessary set of "quotation marks." Wish me luck.

In more concrete sorts of news, Parenthetical Girls have decided to stumble on down the West Coast in a similarly abbreviated form as our East Coast explorations coming up in mid-to-late April. Our confirmed dates are as follows:
